Andrei Lahunovich is a Judge of the Sovetsky District Court in Gomel. In his position he was responsible for numerous politically motivated rulings against journalists and activists who were taking part in protests. He therefore bears responsibility for undermining the rule of law and through his actions as a judge, he has contributed to the repression of civil society and democratic opposition.
