Vladimir Ivanovich YAKUNIN (hereafter YAKUNIN) is an involved person under the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 on the basis of the following grounds: YAKUNIN is associated with a person who is an involved person, Vladimir PUTIN. YAKUNIN obtained a benefit from or supported the Government of Russia as a member of the Board of Directors of the state-owned Russian Railways, a Government of Russia affiliated-entity which carries on business in the transport sector - a sector of strategic importance to the Government of Russia.
