Fawaz Mikhail GERGES is the CEO of AL-SAYYAD COMPANY FOR GUARDING AND PROTECTION SERVICES. GERGES is an involved person under the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 because he is engaging in and providing support for actions or policies that have destabilised Ukraine or undermined or threatened the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine. By virtue of his position, he is responsible for the recruitment of fighters and mercenaries in Syria to fight alongside Russian forces in Ukraine.
