As a longstanding associate of Alexander Lukashenko, Nikolay Vorobey has developed substantial business dealings in Belarus which form a significant segment of private commercial activities in Belarus, notably in transport and logistics. Commercial activities and economic resources under Vorobey’s control therefore contribute to the Lukashenko regime’s activities undermining democracy and the rule of law in Belarus.
