TURKIK UNION is a Turkish exporter of computers and microelectronics and has supplied entities involved in the Russian defence sector. TURKIK UNION is an “involved person” within the meaning of the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 by obtaining a benefit from the Government of Russia because it provides goods or technology in the strategically important Russian electronics and defence sectors, that could contribute to destabilising Ukraine or undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine.
